Terms and Conditions

Credit Card
Credit card details are needed to secure your booking. Credit card holder must be there at pick up of vehicle. Your credit card will not be charged for the full amount, until you pick-up your car. A deposit is required from your credit card at time of booking for Specialty or Prestige vehicles. A credit card surcharge of 1.5% of the transaction value, will apply to each rental.

Cancellation Terms
Cancellation within 2 days of your intended rental date is subject to a 100% cancellation fee, which is equal to 1 day's rental of your chosen car. In the event of a No-Show your credit card will be debited to the amount equal to 1 day's rental of your chosen car as a cancellation fee.

Rental Days
Our days are based on 24 hour periods rather than calendar days. We have a grace period of 59 minutes between pick-up and drop-off times, after which an additional day's rental is charged.

Fuel
Fuel is NOT included in the rates quoted on this site.

Age Restrictions
The driver must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible to rent a car from us. However there are restrictions for renters under the age of 25.
Restrictions for driver 21-24 years old.

  • The renter must carry a full driver's licence. (not probationary or provisional)
  • The renter must be a credit card holder.
  • 21-24 years of age must pay $20.90 per day age excess.
    Note: Drivers under the age of 25 may not hire a vehicle larger than a ICAR - Medium Automatic.

    Drivers Licences

  • Drivers licence must be valid for the period of rental.
  • The renter must carry a full driver's licence. Probationary licences are not acceptable nor are photocopies.
  • We accept all international driving licences, which must be written in English.

    Insurance
    Comprehensive insurance is included in the rates, however coverage is not provided for damage incurred on unsealed roads, above the snow line, damage due to immersion, overhead and undercarriage damage. We also have a single vehicle accident excess of $2,750 in the event of an accident involving just the hire vehicle. All accidents must be reported within 24 hours.

    In the event of an accident a $2,750 excess will apply to renters aged 21-23 years. A $2,750 excess will apply to renters aged 25 years and over. The excess can be reduced to $770 for renters 23-24 years by paying an extra $20.90 per day. For renters aged 25 or more, the excess can be reduced from $2,750 to $330 on Standard vehicles by paying an extra $20.90 per day (MVR). Specialty Vehicles & Luxury Automatics Damage Liability Fee can be reduced from $2,750.00 to $550.00 @ $20.90 per day. Prestige & Large 4WD vehicles Total Protection Package can reduce Damage Liability Fee from $5,500.00 to $990.00 with full protection for damage to front windscreen, headlights & tyres @ $28.00 per day. These charges are collected at the initiation of the rental.

    Additional Drivers
    Up to 4 additional drivers are permitted on each Rental Agreement at a charge of $3.30 each extra driver, per day. Any driver not listed on the rental agreement is not covered by insurance.

    One Way Rentals

  • One-way rentals are permitted between the Eastern States and South Australia. (Minimum Days Apply and Drop-off fee may apply)
  • Rentals into or out of the Northern Territory and Western Australia are NOT permitted.
  • One Way Rentals between all Northern Territory locations require a minimum of 7 days hire.

    Driving Conditions
    Vehicles are permitted to drive on sealed roads only. NO dirt roads at all. Vehicles are NOT allowed to be driven on Kangaroo Island or Fraser Island.

    Rates
    Rates are subject to change without notice. All rates include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
